Picky Eaters

Unless it's chicken nuggets, mac & cheese or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some kids are convinced they "don't like it". Here are a few tips to help with those picky eaters:
1. Have a schedule. No matter how old your child is they need a schedule. I know that every day is not the same, but for the most part do your very best to make sure that the routine is the same as far as meal time goes.
2. Make sure they eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and sit in the same spot for each meal. They need to have full meals. Try your very best to make sure they don't just snack throughout the day. And if they have a snack it is also in the same spot that their meals are in. Not a bag of chips that they walk around in the house eating. This will guarantee a picky eater.
3. Don't label them a picky eater. Always put something on their plate for them to try. You don't have to make them try it, just have it on their plate. This way they are always offered a variety of food. And one day they might just try it!
